WELCOME

Thanks for taking the time to get to know us.

Picasso's Coffee is a locally owned independent coffeehouse. You can visit us at our Main Street location, tucked right in the heart of historic St. Charles, Missouri or at The Streets of St. Charles on Beale Street. Whether it's your first visit or you've been here a few times, be sure to check out www.historicstcharles.com to see what kind of exciting things are happening around town. If you're a local, we hope you already join us for your morning cup. We don't have a drive-thru, but we take the time to get to know our customers and remember their drink preferences. Whether you're visiting Main Street or Beale Street, there's plenty of parking in our lot, along the streets, and nearby parking garages.

We believe strongly in supporting our local economy and foster a positive relationship with the community through support of local charities and arts programs.

Why the Art of Coffee?

It all starts with what is in the cup. Picasso's uses only the freshest micro-roasted coffees roasted right here in St. Louis. We are coffee people first and constantly strive to perfect our craft. We think you will appreciate our hard work. But we're not just coffee. Picasso's also serves fresh bakery items delivered daily from local LaBonne Bouchee Bakery. And Pablo's real fruit smoothies are made from real fruit, fat free yogurt and 100% real juice. We even serve lunch from 11am to 3pm every day. Try our Grilled Paninis or fresh salads for a healthy change of pace.

Join us in the evening and enjoy a wide selection of wines, liqueurs, and craft and import beers.

Try one of our famous Picasso's Masterpiece Martinis, or sample a slice of espresso flavored gooey butter cake with your after-dinner coffee. We feature live entertainment at our Main Street location Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8pm.

Thank you for your support, we couldn't do it without you.

BEALE STREET

Charles Turnell, photography

Artist Statement: At a young age, I was introduced to the world of photography via the timeless articles of the National Geographic Magazine. Page by page, I explored all the hidden and seemingly inaccessible pockets of the world. I marveled at the intricate geometrics of many different landscapes, the colorful and exotic flora and fauna, the innovation of man, and the mystery of the unique world cultures.

On my part, photography is a hobby that has turned into a learning tool for all platforms on life. My quest for knowledge of man, my appreciation for this world in her infinite yet elusive beauty, my memories of a youth growing up in Belize, and cultural inquisitiveness have driven my passion for photography. It is my hope that with each photograph, I can bring awareness and awaken curiosity of the simple, the commonplace and the majestic mysteries of the world.

The featured photos are primarily of Saint Louis. They represent the character of the people of Saint Louis who created this great city. These images, rich in color, vibrant, create an aesthetic Saint Louis conveying an innate spirit, a celebration of life. The convergence creates the " Substance of the Life." Thank you for looking at the photographs.
